Angels Flight audiobook A Harry Bosch Novel Book 6

In the early morning, as I sipped my coffee in bed, I immersed myself in the world of Angels Flight audiobook by Michael Connelly. Being a fan of detective novels and crime mystery thrillers, I was eager to dive into another thrilling adventure with Harry Bosch.

Angels Flight is the 6th chapter in the Harry Bosch novel series, and it did not disappoint. Michael Connelly’s writing never fails to captivate me, and this book was no exception. The story begins with the murder of an activist attorney on a LA trolley called Angels Flight. As Harry Bosch takes on the case, he realizes that the enemies of the victim are within the LAPD itself, making it an explosive investigation.

While Peter Giles did a good job narrating this audiobook, I couldn’t help but miss Dick Hill’s exceptional performance from previous chapters. Hill had set the bar high with his portrayal of Harry Bosch, and Giles didn’t quite reach that level.

The streets of LA come alive in Connelly’s storytelling, and I found myself completely absorbed in the hunt for the killer. As if one high-profile murder wasn’t enough, Bosch stumbles upon another case involving a cop with a motive for killing. The tension builds up steadily throughout the story, keeping me on edge until the very end.

Michael Connelly is truly a master of crime thrillers, and Angels Flight showcases his skills and sizzle once again. If you’re a fan of suspenseful mysteries with complex characters and intricate plots, this audiobook is definitely worth a listen.
